Tada-yaki, which is characterized by its neat shape and beautiful penetration of celadon glaze

Tada-yaki was born as a gift to the shogunate during the Edo period. – which ended in the Mid 1800’s. And it may have been produced mainly as a tea utensils because of its high quality. The Tada-yaki, which was revived by the 1st generation Unkei, has been engraved with openwork and various sculptures by the 2nd generation Unkei, and it has a rich appearance.


Tea ceremony experience (reservation required)

At any time we hold tea ceremony experiences using tea ware from the Tada-Yaki.
Experience fee: About 1 hour 1,000 yen (with matcha and sweets)

Pottery experience (reservation required)

We do the work mainly made by hand, but electric potter’s wheel can also be used. The work will be fired in a climbing kiln and then delivered by cash on delivery at a later date. And up to 3 works can be done by one person.
